I just now turned off the junk email function in Outlook. Why? Because after all the vaunted security improvements in the latest upgrades from Bill Gates are in place, Outlook junks more valid email than it does spam.
Frankly, it's clumsy and asinine that MS's security enhancements should force TWC to add every person in my rather heavy email address book to the 'safe senders' list in order to clear the filters.
The software is so poorly designed that tons of normal emails from regular people with absolutely nothing in them that should trigger the profiling software, end up in the junk email folder where they sometimes languish for days before I realize they're there.
I'm not even a Gates basher but sometimes parts is just parts. And these parts suck.
Don't skip the upgrades-but it might be easier for you to just not use the Junk Email function in Outlook.
