"They're not dragging people from their homes," says the reporter in New Orleans, immediately after showing us a video of a woman being dragged from her home.
Now that the mortal danger is past, the abysmally ineffectual mayor of New Orleans, (who couldn't evacuate
his own bowels anyone out of a wet paper bag a week ago), has gotten pretty good at this moving-the-masses-out-of-town stuff.
By government edict, and with complete disregard for the 4th Amendment, he's forcing people to leave their homes at gunpoint and/or in handcuffs regardless of present danger. I mean, this is America, we can't have people making choices about something as fundamental as their own lives.
As disturbing as it is to watch the Californicate Highway Patrol (CHP) wrestle this old lady to the floor (we can take her, man), it is more disturbing to hear the reporter opine that the cops have the option to use deadly force to save her life. A little counterproductive don't you think? Sorry Ma'am, I'm going to have to kill you because you won't leave. It's for your own good, though. One also wonders what happened in the exact spot that was edited out, right before the burly cops take her down in the kitchen.
