Good Morning Gentle Readers,
It's been a gorgeous few days here in So Cal, warm sultry breezes, clear azure skies, in short, the kind of weather that spawned the post-war boom and continues to draw transplants from all over the world.
I was about to note that since that psycho serial arsonist is behind bars we might go a day or two without a fire when I looked east and saw the pall of smoke billowing from somewhere in the general vicinity of where the Cucamonga vineyards used to be, near Cajon Pass. Expletive deleted. The smoke stretches all the way across the basin to the beaches of the OC, forming a dingy brown, layer of crud, all the better to muck up the sky.
In Other News: Tommorow is election day here in Californicate and we urge your NO vote on each and every ballot proposition that involves spending, borrowing, or tax increases.
