Good Morning Gentle Readers,
Don’t know if you like boogie or blues (or boogie blues). I DO know a lot of you are too young to remember Mike Bloomfield's smokin’ blues guitar or his band, Electric Flag (TWC certainly is). This is one of several Wine Commonsewer theme songs and was filmed at Monterrey during the Summer of Love.
Unfortunately, one of the mics wasn’t working and didn’t pick up some of the left channel (you can’t hear the Wine, Wine, Wine part). It’s still a great tune. I like it better than the Jerry Lee Lewis version (the song itself was first popularized by Stick McGhee in 1949).
What kinda Kool Aid was that head standing chick drinking?
