Good Morning Gentle Readers,
My friend Michelle, who was aced out of her Tucker Carlson appearance last week due to a regularly scheduled technical difficulty, made her appearance yesterday.
Get past the titilation (picked that word on purpose, Beavis) of the ex-stripper supporting the Christian Republican and it turns out that alliance isn't as wierd as you think. Ron Paul is about getting the government out of your corporate boardroom and your personal bedroom. In DC he's known as Dr No because, unlike the current administration and CONgress, which has abandoned all pretense of small government conservatism, Dr Paul votes NO. Frequently.
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
He had me at never voted to raise taxes. And how about this:
Abolish the IRS Immediately.
TWC doesn't necesarily agree with Dr Paul on 100% of the issues but comparatively speaking TWC doesn't agree with CONgress or the President on 10% of the issues.
MSNBC video is here.
We report, you decipher.
Thanks for your time.
