TWC has been without service to his main business phone for most of this month. The fax line has worked in fits and starts, off and on. The back line is okay.
Last week I dropped the cell phone and it exploded. Not a good month for phones, but guess what? Verizon gave me a brand new one for free, even without insurance. Now that's customer service, man.
Hot Tip: If you need repair on your ATT land line phone, dial 611 then do not speak or touch the keypad. In about 3-5 minutes a live human being will come on the line.
That came in handy after several online and phone system repair orders failed to rectify the problem at hand.
After I got the live voice, he disclosed that some unnamed somebody had hacked through the main trunk line with a..........(back hoe? Ditch Witch? flat-bladed shovel? Your guess goes here).
Five days later, still no phone. It's enough to make a preacher cuss. At least I have voicemail. Big Sigh.
Is it time to dump the archaic land line and switch the number to my cell?
UPDATE: My business phone is working this morning for the first time in two weeks.
