Mrs TWC is off to St Louis in the morning (no kids, that is *not* Mickie Dees) so TWC whipped her up a little something nice for a sunny (Sunday) morning brekkie.
As Col Hogan has pointed out, everything is organic, and that is a fact. While he avoids it as much as possible, TWC isn't necessarily against pesticide or fertilizer as warranted. However, the terms judicious and sparingly do come to mind. To date, we've not experienced the handiwork of those loathsome tomato worms, but, like a loaded 9mm on the nightstand, the Sevin Dust waits patiently on the shelf in the garage for their unfortuitous arrival (is that a real word?).
TWC is also liberal with the application of Felis Cattus. Although not Sierra Club approved, it takes care of rabbits, rats, gophers, moles, mice, ground squirrels, and some birds. Handy, too, because on this godforsaken chunk of granite hillside the starving vermin around here are constantly at the edge of extinction and can devour an entire garden overnight.
Forgot how much I like this song.
Lady in lace, sunlight on your face, quite an eyeful.....such delightful deja vu.....Sunday morning here with you.....
*using the modifier smoked is a bit of dramatic license as chipotle chiles are, by definition, smoked jalapeno peppers. There is something about the roasting and smoking process that civilizes the aggressive nature of a basic jalapeno, turning into something of a delicacy.
