2007 Fife Petite Sirah

Good Morning Gentle Readers,

To be charitable the Fife Petite Sirah has all the engaging qualities of a pint of Hiram Walker Blackberry Brandy. To be uncharitable, it is corked cough syrup in a wine bottle.

Give this one a wide berth. Or, as Monty Python once said......

.....this is a wine for lying down and avoiding.

If you insist, you can find this wine at Trader Joe's for $6.99. Keep in mind, however, that there are many wines in this price range that you can actually enjoy.

Rumor has it that this is bankruptcy liquidation. Easy to see why.
