The 1.6 Million Dollar Model T

Good Morning Gentle Readers,

Assuming TWC got the math right, in 2010 the federal government will spend 5,518 times as much money as it did 100 years ago. I personally don't think we're getting five thousand times as much benefit from government as our great grandparents did. Your mileage may vary.

Further, there isn't much of anything that costs five thousand times as much as it did in 1910. For instance, the 1910 Model T was about $300.00. Ain't no car that costs 1.6 million today (5,518*$300.00). Except maybe this one:
