Good Morning Gentle Readers,
We're sort of doing a Twelve Days of Christmas montage of TWC's Best of Christmas tuneography (just coined that, thankee). It'll be more than twelve (days and faves) and it'll be a lot of fun.
We kicked it off with Skynard's rockin' rendition of Run Run Rudolph and today we're going with The Pussycat Dolls cover of an Eartha Kitt classic from the early 1950's. The House Blond isn't much for the Madonna cover but she does like this one.
It's done up nicely by Kassandra with not-so-classic, modern day Betty Boop imagery.
True confession: At five (or six) I was madly in love with Betty Boop, whose risqué antics titillated my grandfather's generation. Boop's cartoons were on early Saturday mornings (before the good stuff like Bugs Bunny). There was none of this non-stop Cartoon Network nonsense--cartoons were on Saturday morning, when God intended them to be aired.
Can't see the vid? It's here.
As Ever,
Santa Commonsewer
