Good Morning Gentle Readers,
Despite the inane babbling about shorter showers, we are in the throes of a drought. However, agriculture uses at least 75% of California's water so if the rest of us cut our water use by 10% it really isn't important in the overall scheme of things. Go ahead, you do the math and see how it works out.
These are trees in a creek bottom adjacent to a dirt road where TWC walks out to the ridge most mornings.
Five years ago they looked like this.....
I ain't kidding, neither. These trees are about a half mile further down slope in the same creek bottom, which ordinarily has a trickle of water flowing even in September.
