Good Morning Gentle Readers,

Casa de las Rocas Grandes 2009 projected harvest results as follows:

  • Fuji Apples: Meh but the few will be tasty
  • Pomegranates: Enough
  • Navel Oranges: Plenty
  • Tangerines: Plenty
  • Figs: Prolific
  • Roma Tomatoes: Bumper Crop
  • Better Boy Tomatoes: Prolific
  • Cantaloupes: Poor
  • Watermelons: Poor
  • Butternut Squash: Prolific
  • Banana Peppers: Good
  • Anaheim Chilies: Good
  • Peaches: Fair (we fought the birds for them and the birds won)
  • Lemons: Good
  • Serrano Chiles: Decent
  • Cucumbers: Poor
  • Eggplants: Plenty
  • Garlic: Good
  • Garlic Chives: Prolific
  • Sage: Good
  • Thyme: Good
  • Rosemary: Bumper Crop
  • Apricots: Nah
  • Grapefruit: Poor
  • Crookneck Squash: Generally prolific, but not this year, suspect genetically defective plants
