Mammoth Railroad Bridge

Good Morning Gentle Readers,

Constructed some sixty years ago, the trestle near Mammoth Arizona could easily stand in for a territorial era bridge, conjuring up images more consistent with Ike Clanton than Ike Eisenhower.

Mammoth Bridge
The San Manuel Railroad was built by a joint venture of the Utah Construction Company and The Sterns-Roger Manufacturing Company for the San Manuel Copper Corporation in order to transport copper ore. The mine dates to the 1870's and was closed in 2003.
