Tower Butte, Lake Powell

Good Morning Gentle Readers,

Tower Butte

Taken from our campsite, which was a couple of miles across Padre Bay using a telephoto lens.  As you might imagine, it is late in the day and the setting sun provides some interesting lighting. 

We spent about a week boat camping on Lake Powell (no houseboat). Our boat sleeps four decently. We might have stayed a bit longer but we ran out of wine, water, and food.

Familia, a little Beach Boys, campfire, sunset, and, well, you know......

The wine? I believe that was a Santa Rita Cabernet, but I could be mistaken.
